Terrence Higgins Trust (THT) provides a range of services for people living with HIV. The best place to start is THT Direct. Advisers will be able to give you information and tell you about other services that can help. You can contact THT Direct on 0845 1221 200 or at info@tht.org.uk.
Shelter, the housing and homelessness charity, can offer advice and information on a wide range of housing issues:

You can also go to an advice service run by another organisation, such as Citizens Advice or your local council. You can find a directory of advice centres here.
Directgov (http://www.direct.gov.uk/) has advice on housing, homelessness and related issues, including financial help and a tool for calculating eligibility for benefits.
The Housing Rights website (www.housing-rights.info) has information for people who are new arrivals in the UK, and at different stages in the immigration process.
NAM’s HIV & stigma booklet has some useful information on dealing with discrimination and harassment – both practically and emotionally. It is available online here or printed copies are available free to people affected by HIV; you can order it by contacting NAM on 020 7840 0050 or at info@nam.org.uk.
